Playing Experience

Freelance/ Session Drummer. Brian has played with artists including Cliff Richard, George Benson, The Drifters, Leo Sayer and, Adam Faith. There have also been numerous UK tours and gigs abroad, together with over 50 TV appearances including Top of the Pops, Record Breakers, Generation Game, Freddie Starr Christmas Special. As well as performing, Brian is also a composer for EMI Music Publishing.

Terry Gregory — Keyboard and Bass

Teaching Experience

20 years teaching experience as a private tutor, University Lecturer for Thames Valley University, Brunel University and Colchester Institute. Terry has tutored not only in playing the Bass Guitar, but also in General Musicianship incorporating Piano and Keyboard Skills.

Playing Experience

Terry has over 20 years playing experience touring the worldwith artists such as Steve Hackett and Martin Taylor and performing in shows and on Television in the UK. Terry is currently part of the Steve Hackett Band and a regular occupant of the Bass chair in Mama Mia (London's West End). As a composer Terry has writtenn for Trinity College Rockshool and for many recording projects including highly acclaimed Jazz Fusion Band Four Corners.

Terry is Music Journalist for The Guitar Magazine and Bassist.

David Young — Guitar / Music Theory

Associate,Trinity. College. London. (Classical Guitar)

Teaching Experience

10 years private tuition in Rock,Funk,Jazz,Fusion,Classical guitar,Sight Reading and music theory.

Playing Experience

Freelance/Session guitarist. David has worked with many performers playing all styles of music including Marti Caine,Gerrard Kenny, Jim Davidson and Brian Conley.

David has recorded for the touring show 'That'll Be the Day' as well as appearing on Big Band recordings at C.T.S Studios Wembley and appearing at The Royal Albert Hall. He also performs regularly with various rock bands and as a solo performer throughout the country as a classical guitarist.

Martin York — Composer / Music Theory / Composition

Composing Experience

In the late 80s Martin got involved with music for films & TV, first as a bass player on commercials for British Airways, Levis, Walkers, Ford amongst countless others, and later as a composer, with well over 1500 published pieces which have cropped up on Coronation Street, Top Gear, Blind Date, Holiday, The Big Breakfast, GM-TV and London’s Burning.

Playing Experience

After graduating, Martin became a professional bass player working in studios and performing live with the likes of Wham! Imagination, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Jason Donovan, Bananarama, Stewart Copeland, KajaGooGoo, amongst many others. Martin is a vastly experienced professional musician who when recording for Gigajam plays and programs all of the instruments. We are delighted to have Martin as part of our team.
